Although not everyone would have been comfortable interviewing R. Kelly from prison, the owners of the podcast explained why they were fine.
Dylard said, “We are only 2 people who are able to separate the art from the artist.”
They also discovered that the answers to the interview were confused, which did not surprise them, given that many people had lifted Kelly after his conviction. However, they said, “When R. Kelly calls, you answer.”

Kelly’s efforts to regain his freedom in February failed after the Federal Court of Appeal approved his rackets and three decades of sentence.
However, despite the decision, his lawyer Jennifer Bonjean said the singer is hopeful and durable and will continue to fight for her freedom and justice.
