The Portuguese Football Federation President Pedro Proenka has paid tribute to Dioigo Jota and his brother Andre Silva, who was killed in a road traffic accident in Spain overnight.
Jota and Silva’s car came from A -52 motorists in the province of Jhalara and emergency staff.
Jota, 28, was the prominent member of the Liverpool team who won the premiere league title last season while 26 -year -old Silva played in the second section of Penfil.
The Portuguese Football Federation and all the Portuguese football in the morning have been completely destroyed by the death of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva.

Proenka said: “In Spain this morning, the Portuguese Football Federation and the Portuguese Football Dioigo Jota and Andre Silva’s death are completely destroyed.
“More than a fantastic player with about 50 international matches for the national team, Diogo Jota was a wonderful person, all colleagues and opponents respected them, which is an infectious happiness and reference (point) in the society.
“On my behalf and on behalf of the Portuguese Football Federation, I am heartbreaking of Digo and Andre Silva’s family and friends, as well as Liverpool FC and FC Pennfil, where they played.
“We have lost two champions. The damage to Diyogo and Andre Silva shows the inadequate loss of Portuguese football and we will do everything to honor their heritage every day.”
The Portuguese Football Federation has asked the UEFA to keep a minute peace before the Women’s Euro 2025’s struggle against Spain.

Jota spent the loan at Porto for the season of 1-17-17, while Silva was a member of his young teams.
