In the summer of 2024, the slot, who took over the Annfield, won the premiere league title in the last term.
Slot said in a statement, “I wish I would have words but I know I don’t.”
“My first thought is not a football manager. He is a father, a son, a brother and a uncle, and he is from the family of Diyoga and Andre Silva who has experienced such unknown damage.
“My message is very clear to them – you will never go alone. You are all the supporters of the players, employees, liverpool football clubs, and what I have seen today can also be said about the wider family of football.
“As a club for us, the feeling of shock is perfect. Diyogo was not just our player. He was a loved one of us. He was a colleague, a colleague, a colleague, and in all those roles he was very special.”

The words of the liverpool boss come after the spread of emotional tribute. Former Liverpool head coach “heart sad” Jargan Clop, who brought the club from Jotala wolves in the 5th, said, “He was not just a fantastic player but a great friend, a loving and careful husband and father.”
Jotha’s Portugal colleague Cristiano Ronaldo told the social media post “We will all miss you”, while fans gathered to respect them at Enfield.
The flag at the Liverpool Town Hall came down to half the mast to respect Jota and his brother.
Slot welcomed Jota’s work morality, humility and quality “the essence of what a liverpool player should be.”
He said: “Some parts have not been seen. The person who has never discovered popularity but still found it.
“There is no friend of two people, everyone’s friend. The one who feels good about themselves with them. One person who cared for your family.”
The Dutch coach revealed that the last time he congratulated Jot in June for the victory of the Portugal Nations League and wished his marriage.
“In many ways, Diogo and his family had a dream summer, which makes it more heartbreaking.
“When I first came to the club, one of the first songs I knew was our fans singing for Diyogo. I did not work with him before, but I immediately knew that Liverpool supporters, who have seen many great players for years, should have such a unique science for diogo.
“You still do not agree that these qualities have been lost in such a terrible situation.
“For this reason, everyone in the club should stand together and be there for each other.
“My grief goes to the wife of Diyago’s wife, Root, their three beautiful children and the parents of Diyoga and Andre Silva.
“When the time is right, we will celebrate Diyogo Jota, we will remember his target and we sing his song. For the time, we will remember him as a unique man and mourn his loss. He will never be forgotten.
“His name is Diogo.”
