Cristiano Ronaldo rescued when charged.


Portuguese Football Federation President Pedro Proenka has jumped to the rescue of Kristiano Ronaldo on an experienced striker after alleging Digo Jota and his brother Andre Silva’s funeral.

Liverpool star Jota and Silva, who played by Pennfil in the Portuguese second section, July was killed in a car accident in Northern Spain on July and buried two days later.

Ronaldo and Jota were a member of the Portugal team who won the Nations League in June, but in Saudi Arabia, the captain of the National team playing from Al-Nasar, chose not to take part in the funeral and remained on a family holiday in Majarka.

‘Vast unjust to criticize Cristiano’

Former Real Madrid and Manchester United Star were alleged to have no respect for the United Star, but Pronka said he was strongly active behind the scenes.

He told the Expresso: “In this case, it is very unjust to say that Cristiano was somewhat cold.

“From the first hour, the captain was one of the people who was the national team family and the blood family of themselves.

“What he said about our Captain Cristiano Ronaldo is an injustice. He was one of the most felt that he was the true partner of Jot.

“His physical absence does not mean that he never left this family.”

Ronaldo is still scoring for Portugal

Ronaldo won the Nations League final on Spain and extended his own goal to 888. It was his eighth in the nine Nations League Games.

Some Portugal fans believe that coach Roberto Martinez has time to move on from 40 -year -old Ronaldo, but Pronka says his international career will end similar to everyone.

He continued: “Cristiano will be either the national team or finally because it is no longer a technical or sports option. It will be like any other player.

“It does not prevent us from saying that we want Christiano to stay in our national team for many years. He is not the best but the best Portuguese player so far.

“He is a brand going beyond Portugal and I wish Christiano could be eternal. Of course, there is a limit to human nature.”
