“Life” was probably not a big blow when it came to theaters in 2017, but several years later it finds a new life in the Prime video. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds, a sci-fi horror movie has climbed at the top of the streaming charts, entering 4th place, and, to be honest, it deserves this second chance. Writes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, a member of the Life also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Emmy Award -winning Shōgun star Hiroyuki Sanada, Olga Dihovichnaya and Ariyon Bakare. Along with Gyllenhaal and Reynolds, they play astronauts at the International Space Station, which form contact with a foreign form. Unfortunately, this little Nibler is not friendly and soon destroys the crew one by one, leaving the survivors to do their best to prevent it from returning to the ground.
Described our own Jacob’s grass “Life” as “old-fashioned B-film dressed like a block”, “ With a great creature in the center of this feature. Occasionally, the film directed by Daniela Espinosa is returned to you as “Alien” and “The Thing,” allows you to be caught by a star power that is miserably treating this monster at the Gulf. This could be any basic space pedestrian group that will dare to put the beast with a stick, but because it is Gyllenhaal, Reynolds and crew trying to stop the star -like space invader, it creates a much larger clock than it should be.
It also becomes an even better viewing if you follow Headcanon, created by comic film fans’ armies when the film was originally released, just before the prescribed Marvel Anthero debuted solo spin-off.
Life still acts as a venom preface, honest
During and during release, the idea came out that “life” is secretly linked to one of Sony’s upcoming comicians at that time: “Venom”. Not going into the spoiler area (yes, it’s so good that we don’t want to spoil an eight -year -old movie), a Reddit theory suggested that “Life” was the forerunner “Venom” that arrived next year. Adding fuel to this fan-driven speculation was the fact that the authors of the sci-fi film were also filled “Venom” script that Sony puts onIn the area “Life” even demonstrated the crowd of “Spiderman 3”, only cheering further speculation that it could be the smartest franchise Kickstarter to which Sony could ever hope for. It wasn’t, but Reese and Wernick themselves loved this idea.
