Keny Ortega addresses Zac Efron in the “High School Musical”


Albeit Zac Ephron has been recognized for their roles in several popular films, including “Charlie St. Cloud”, “17 Again” and “Neighbors”, many first met the 37 -year -old from their time playing Troy Bolton Disney’s franchise “High School Music”.

In the film, Ephrons plays high school Jack Troy Bolton, an Eastern High Wildcats Basketball Team Star Player, who is torn between a team star player and a key role in the school’s drama.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kenya Ortega, director of High School Musical, explained why they have another actor who sings one of Ephron’s music.

“The songs were written before Zac got a role,” said Ortega. “So, even though he could sing, and he had a nice voice, it was not the voice that the songs were written. So he sang everything and we called it part to have greater vocal power.”

Seeley opened for Zac Efron’s replacement during the HSM Tour

Seeley eventually replaced Ephron’s “High School Music” during the tour 2006 and 2007, while the latter filmed “Hair Spray”.

During the previous interview he also open At the top about filling Ephron on the official soundtrack, saying, “I have never told why they did it as they did.”

Zac Efron shares when he knew “high school musical” will be a massive hits

A year later, Efron spoke to Vanity Fair about his time on the set and thought the exact moment he knew the movie would be a big thing.

“Not many people know this, but high school musical was just a movie made from TV, and it was very small, so we had a very shortened photography schedule and a very limited attempt time,” Ephron shared before talking about the iconic “Getcha leader” game.

“I think we probably practiced it for two days before it was done in sync,” Ephron said. “We may have had two three -hour attempts with basketball. After five admissions we carelessly.”
