The official length of Rudigar’s ban has not been confirmed, but the report indicates that the penalty can be four to twelve matches depending on the results of the discipline review.
After defeat and the red card, Rudigar took apologies for his actions on social media.
“I am definitely not about my behavior last night. I feel bad about it.
“We played a good game from the other half – after 5 minutes I could no longer help my team and I made a mistake before the final shit. Again, again and last night I was sorry to everyone who was disappointed.”
Real Madrid has also confirmed that Rudiger will miss the rest of the season due to injury, so he will not be able to play at the time of suspension until the next season.
