Former Arsenal Midfilder Thomas Party has been accused of five rape counting and a measure of sexual assault, Crown Production Service announced this afternoon.
The crime has been alleged to have been committed between 1 and 2 while the North London Club was contracted.
The party’s previous contract in the Emirates expired in the end of June and is now an open agent.
The CPS said that the charge was three women. The 32 -year -old will appear on August 5 at the Westminster Magistrates Court.
CPS Jaswant Narwal said: “The Crown Production Service today has authorized the Thomas Party to prosecute several crimes of the rape of Thomas – after careful review of a wide file of evidence, our lawyers have worked closely with the Metropolitan Police Officer.
“We remind everyone that criminal proceedings are active and the defendant has the right to test the right.
